E.A.S.T exhibitions and related events

I exhibit my own work as part of the exhibiting group E.A.S.T (East Anglian Stitch Textiles) - our new exhibition is Power of Stitch.  It will be on display at Braintree District Museum  and the Pond Gallery, Snape Maltings in Suffolk in 2019.

We opened at Braintree District Museum on Tuesday 30 April, and the exhibition continues until Saturday 29th June 2019.

On Sunday 12 May 2019, the group participated in the Braintree Textile Fair with a talk and a workshop.  During the day E.A.S.T encouraged visitors to join them in creating a woven installation.  The work was inspired by three Courtauld women - two suffragettes and one doctor who will also feature in an exhibition at Braintree Museum next year (see below).

Power of Stitch will move to the Pond Gallery at Snape Maltings in Suffolk from 4 to 10 July 2019 - opening at 12 noon on the 4th.

For more information visit the E.A.S.T website.

'Courtaulds - origins, innovations, family (1816-1982)' will be on display at Braintree District Museum from 2 February to 30 May 2020 (Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4pm)
